Grant is Senior Consultant at Inspiral Ltd, a company providing specialist business support services to entrepreneurs in the Creative and Digital Industries (CDI), across the UK. With over 20 years of experience as a Producer, Grant specialises in coaching creative entrepreneurs, particularly film, TV and Cross platform producers, in how to start up a new business, as well as how to pitch more effectively to decision-makers. He has a secured business contracts for Inspiral from national clients such as NESTA, Channel4Talent and Skillset to facilitate this work.

Grant develops and produces feature film, TV drama, documentary and cross platform projects with a range of national and international partners. Current projects include the feature film ‘A Very Unsettled Summer', presented at Galway and Thessaloniki co-production markets, the TV series ‘Manic' with Red Productions and the highly innovative ‘My Dangerous LoverBoy' cross platform initiative, backed by National Film Board of Canada and Northern Film and Media, with partners Screen Siren Pictures Inc (Vancouver) and new media specialists, Quba New Media. http://mydangerousloverboy.quba.co.uk Grant was producer and writer on the short film, ‘Relativity' that won the UIP Prix Berlinale in 2002.

Grant regularly attends all the major film markets and festivals, including Cannes and Berlin and has an extensive network of national and international contacts, particularly in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The purpose of these mini-labs is

-Stimulate debate about the impact of digital technology on society, politics, the economy, education, culture

-Inspire participants to generate ideas for subjects and topics to cover

-Give practical tips and advice on making, digitising and posting their films
